Tony Montilla

Mr. Montilla handles a broad spectrum of work and finds that he most enjoys dealing with other people and has a talent for problem-solving and negotiating reasonable outcomes in disputes.  He discovered the field of workers’ compensation while working for medical providers assisting with billing, collection calls, and filing court documents.

 

He began representing employers with the collection of liens before the WCAB.  Mr. Montilla has over 20 years of experience in the workers' compensation field. In his career he has been a hearing representative for both lien claimants and defendants and has made board appearances, and conducted seminars for clients on the changing lien rules in the workers’ compensation system. He is responsible for attending Lien Conferences and Trials and negotiating liens. Under the direction of our skilled attorneys, he prepares Pre-Trial Conference Statements and Trials Briefs and assists with complex legal research.

 

Mr. Montilla is a smart, friendly, and gregarious person who is highly committed to excellence in producing complete, accurate, and thorough work.  When off the job he is a devoted family man engaging in numerous outdoor and indoor activities with his wife, children, and relations, sparing a little time for the family dogs as well.
